| Geoff Turton - Technical Vice President |
| Geoff Turton has a degree in Chemistry from Leeds College of Science & Industry and a Masters Degree In Chemistry from Sheffield University in the U. K. Mr. Turton has over 33 years of experience in the Glass Industry. He has worked on all types of furnaces, including regenerative, recuperative and electric melt furnaces. Mr. Turton has been employed by KTG Systems, Inc. since 1994, serving as Vice President and General Manager. He is responsible for technical and engineering design, and specification for all furnaces, as well as development of new process concepts. He also is responsible for project management and contract management. Mr. Turton's previous work experience was with Rockware Glass (U. K.), as Furnace Design Manager, and KTG Glassworks Technology, Inc. (USA), as Technical Manager. | Peter Davies has a U. K. National Certificate in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Davies has been employed by KTG Systems, Inc. since April 1994, as Manager of Electric Melting Technology. He is responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of projects associated with electric melting and boosting of glass. Prior to his employment with KTG Systems, Inc., Mr. Davies was employed from 1979 to 1994 in various positions with KTG Glassworks Technology, Inc. He was a Special Projects Manager - Electrical and was responsible for the coordination of electric melt projects. He also was the Contracts Manager and was responsible for the coordination and installation of projects. Mr. Davies also worked for KTG/Penelectro International (U. K.) and was responsible for the R&D department and was also a Contract Engineer, responsible for the detail processing of electric furnace projects worldwide. davies@ktgsi.com |
